IMPORTANT Notice

Hiya!  I just received some very disturbing news.  Apparently, effective March 1, 2012, non-Google members will no longer be a part of the "Google Friends Connect".  This basically means that people who do not have a Google Account will be unable to follow anyone’s blog that does have a Google Account.

A way around this is for non-Google members to follow me (and/or others) via “Linky” (or other alternatives).  I’ve chosen Linky. J   (Cute name and it says it all!!! --- linking friends)  So, in an attempt to avoid losing touch, would you please sign up under the “Linky followers” area.  It would be greatly appreciated. J

Now, if that isn’t enough to take in, there’s word that, down the road, Google Friends Connect will eventually disappear altogether.  Hence, it’s probably a good idea for even Google members to sign up under Linky right now.  This will alleviate the problem later w/ having to do it.  J  That’s my intention.  Any blog I see that has a new sign-up, I’ll be doing just that.

So, you may wish to add another "following site" on your blog.  I wouldn’t want to lose touch with any of you!!  I treasure visiting each and every one of you!!!

I can’t thank you enough for following me and also for sharing your creativity!!! J

The Linky followers area is on my side-bar.  Hoping to see all of you there!  J

Stampin' Up Wheel Storage

Hiya!  Just wanted to share what I've used for storing my Stampin' Up wheels.  It's a repurposed zippered pillowcase package.  It had a little slot inside, which housed the pillowcase product description and I just computer-generated the logo of the Stampin' Up wheels and created my own product description.  :-)  It's amazing what you can find around your home, to utilize for your craft storage.  :-)

Stickle Storage

For those of you who don’t have a lot of Stickles, I found this neat li’l carousel at the thrift shop.  It holds 18 Stickles quite nice, but I wanted to have them placed upside-down, so they wouldn’t have a clogging issue.  I bought a long piece of plumbing pipe, in the hopes that hubby would cut it down to size for me.  However, because it wasn’t as easy as it sounded and one needed the right tool, like a hacksaw, the li’l project never got completed. :-(

Saw a thread on the Cricut MB about how people stored their Stickles, using couplings.  Well, the hubster and I trotted back to Home Depot and found exactly what we needed:-  pipe adapters used for plumbing.  They’re just the right size – ¾ in. and, because they have a smaller end, it fits into the carousel just perfect.  Actually a nice tight fit.  Then, the Stickles go in upside-down, beautifully.

Here's what it originally looked like, w/ the paints I got, for $4.00:-

Here it is, w/ my Stickles in it (upright):-

Here it is, w/ the pipe adapters, allowing the Stickles to sit upside-down:-

Here's what the actual adapter looks like:-

Works like a charm!!!! :-)
