Retirement Card

Inside:-

Well, I have to say that this has got to be the largest card I've ever made.  It's absolutely humongous!!!  J   It measures 8" x 12".  And that's just the FRONT of the card. (LOL)

It was made entirely w/ my Imagine.  Just LOVE that machine!!! Here's the deets:-

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Imagine
Cricut Imagine Cartridge – Buccaneer (for the boat/water); patterns
Cricut Cartridges – see below
Glue – regular; ATG
Cardstock – blue (for the card base); white (for the Imagine)
Corner Rounder -- Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (cloud)
Button -- for hat
Ribbon -- for side of card
Smilie sticker (to cover skull on flag)
Popdots

Cricut Cartridges:
Every Day Paper Dolls -- li'l guy & accessories
Celebrate with Flourish -- golf clubs & fishing rods/fish

Because this card was sooooo huge, I had to attach two 8" x 12" pieces together with tape.  I then covered the tape w/ ribbon.   The inside sentiments and clipart were computer-generated.

My BIL loves fishing, playing golf, and poker so I incorporated it all into one li'l bundle. J

Do you recognize this doll???

I'm trying to figure out if this is a hand-crafted doll, or manufactured one.  Isn't she beautiful?  I got her at a garage sale for. . . . . you ready for it??? ----- a whole 50 cents!!!!  I just couldn't pass her up.

I was thinking that some wonderful grandma made this for their granddaughter and she just either got tired of it, or grew older and didn't want anything like that anymore.  Here I come along --- and just grab her up.  LOL

Check out the beautiful details on her:-  hand-crafted flowers/leaves; beads w/ fringe.  She stands 14 1/2" tall.  There were no tags on her anywhere, so my guess is that she was hand-crafted.  I sure lucked out, eh?  :-)
