This is a tough question.
I like the ideas so far.
I would try to showcase cards I made.
Cuttlebug folders, Bling, Photos.
You could make it a Picture Showcase stand.
Possible use it as a decorative element in your scraproom rather than a storage element.
Let us know what you decide.

Hugs

MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01273782984236937090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404261482085871246.post-63289792752573943412011-01-28T21:07:40.977-08:002011-01-28T21:07:40.977-08:00Oh wow how fun! Also what about a place to keep your newly acquired purchases of rub-ons, bling, stickers, chipboard, transparencies, ect. so they are right out in view so you can see all your goodies and be able to use them. Or what about organizing your pictures (no I'm not that organized, lol wish I were) and put in those clear containers
( http://www.google.com/products/catalog?rlz=1T4DKUS_enUS262US263&q=creating+keepsakes+photo+pockets&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=1847033172385396356&ei=Dp9DTdW-BIO78gaLi9GYAg&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=image&resnum=3&ved=0CCkQ8gIwAg# ) They are by Creating keepsakes and they hold 80, 5 x 7 photos. Then they would be right there at your fingertips and ready for you to scrap. Hope that helps a bit, can't wait to see what you do with it! Make sure you keep us posted!
((Hugs)) Theresa
Oh, and Binky Said say Hi to Bailey!**Treefrog**https://www.blogger.com/profile/01708099988296189511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404261482085871246.post-7026695714362053272011-01-28T20:48:48.188-08:002011-01-28T20:48:48.188-08:00OMG, you guys have come up w/ some excellent ideas...OMG, you guys have come up w/ some excellent ideas. Thanks so much for sharing all of that w/ me. :-)

Once I get it home (tomorrow) I can take a pic and get some actual measurements of the holders, to give you a better idea of what it's all about.

I am getting soooooo excited about getting it, now!! And I think I may have a solution as to where to put it, too. Fingers crossed! :-)

Thank you soooooooo much for all of your ideas!

Hugs,
LindaLadybughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00458091980083193080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404261482085871246.post-79530350073361407542011-01-28T20:27:26.185-08:002011-01-28T20:27:26.185-08:00Hey v-sis! I just measured my cricut box and it's 4 inches which means my first thought and that knocks the A2 cards (if those are 4 1/4 wide) out of the running. My guess is this is brochure size so we'll have to get really creative here, huh? Got any spare chipboard, or better yet do you save cereal and other types of food containers that you could cut to the right size? If you do here are a few suggestions:
1. Wrap ribbon around your custom cut chipboard.
2. Make some custom bags and/or boxes with clear fronts (you know, like those cookie boxes I made for Christmas (see the post at http://craftroomtransformation.blogspot.com/2010/12/finally-finished-christmas-goodies.html) then put embellies, scraps, flowers, whatevers in them.
3. Last, but not least...give Bailey the ride of his life... you know, rig up some kind of a sling thingy so he's secure and well, you'd probably have to hang the rack from a ceiling hook or it'd fall over. What a cool merry-go-round! Maybe Bailey has some furry friends that could come balance it out?

I can't wait to hear and see what you decide to do with it! Oh I can't remember if you still need more space for punches, but if you do how about putting the larger ones in the rack?Sharon Huffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02215538624799476323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404261482085871246.post-34153832540905742742011-01-28T19:50:36.565-08:002011-01-28T19:50:36.565-08:00I agree with Wende! If you like to display your cards (heaven forbid you actually mail or give them to someone... lol)
I fear the cricut boxes would be too big, but could be fun for Spellbinders or any other block style dies.
if you store anything in CD/DVD cases (acrylic stamp sets?) that would work well I think
Also, if you have stickers or rub-ons that are in the cellophane/plastic bags that could work... as long as there is a bit of card inside. otherwise they may slump over and fall out.
The small bolts of ribbon would probably fall right out but some of the larger ones would fit I think
If I think of anything else I'll come back for a visit. :) Good luck!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16229509729632675964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404261482085871246.post-32990200983132388962011-01-28T18:00:59.729-08:002011-01-28T18:00:59.729-08:00Linda, would cuttlebug folders fit? Ribbon that you have wound on chipboard? Love the vertical, will save so much room. Spellbinders? That just off top of my noggin . Will keep thinking, sweetie. How is that Yorki-poo? We are taking ours back to the beach in April. They loved it in November.Wendehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10613353175801690699noreply@blogger.com
