I have been totally spoiled this Birthday. J Here are some more goodies I received:-

Beautiful bouquet of flowers:-

A sweet friend left this tied to my front door, along w/ a beautiful hand-made card and a hand-made "Princess" hat that her grandchild had decorated w/ stars.  Toooooo cute!!! :-)

Hubby gave me this gorgeous plant for my crane planter:-

 Close-up of it:-

My daughter gave me this beautiful tole painted basket:-

and this little cubbie (flip-top lid and drawer), also hand-painted:-
She thought I could use both to store some crafty supplies in.  Sweet, eh? J

I also received some beautiful cards from family and friends; as well as phone calls (from near and far).  As I mentioned above, totally spoiled! JJ

Birthday Festivus

My birthday isn’t until this Friday, but my dear sweet hubby has been surprising me w/ pressies and things he’s been doing for me, all week; hence, the term “festivus”.  LOL  What a sweetheart, eh?  J

He started by giving me this cute whimsical plant.  It stands 44 inches high.  I love all things whimsical.  I becha never knew that about me, eh?  Shocker!!  LOL

Then, if that wasn’t enough, he gave me this gorgeous print, created by a local artist, that I had my eye on for some time.  He actually had it hidden for over a month, but he couldn’t wait any longer to give it to me.  It had been in a shop window, that we passed by on our walk every day.  I’d admire it from a distance because I never thought I would ever be able to have it.  So, at that time, hubby did the next best thing:-  he bought me a “card” that the local artist had made of the print.  I bought a cheap paper frame for it and put it in my craftroom, on my bulletin board.  It was just perfect.  Didn’t matter to me that it wasn’t the real deal.  J

Then, on Sunday, I noticed this HUGE bag, sitting beside my chair at the dining room table.  The card read:-  "To the Birthday Girl".   Here’s the cute card:-

Inside the bag was this beautiful print.  Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous?  It puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.  Loooooove it!!!!

I'm really enjoying my Birthday Festivus!   J

Thank You card

Made this card for another dear MB friend.

 Inside:-

Tools/Items:-

Cricut Imagine
Cricut Imagine Cartridge – Greeting Cards Inside & Out
Glue – ATG; regular
Cardstock -- white (for the Imagine)
Stickles – Gold
Pop Dots
Rhinestones

I’ve been wanting to make the “Elvis” card for awhile now.  My opportunity arose when I had to make a thank you card for a MB friend.

I’m pretty sure that Elvis’s hair is supposed to be black but, for whatever reason, it turned blue and I thought it looked pretty cute.  I don’t use black that much so I’m guessin’ that my Black ink is stuck or something.

Had to add some glitz to Elvis so I “rhinestoned” and “stickled” him.  J

This cartridge has something totally different from the other ones ---- the back of the card shows that it was created by “Cricut”.  The back is also supposed to be black, but I really prefer the blue.  J

Thank You card

Made this card for a dear MB friend.

Inside:

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Imagine
Cricut Imagine Cartridge -- Blossom
Cricut Cartridge – Just Because Cards
Martha Stewart  Punch Around the Page – Deco Fans
Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps – Sassy Alpha
Scrappy Cat Clear Stamps – Thank You
Glue – ATG; regular
Cardstock -- white (for the Imagine) layer on card; blue (front layer)
Flower – K & Co.
Stickles – Cotton Candy (on watermelon)
Pencil Crayon – blue
Pigment Ink – Tart Lime
Pop Dots

The patterned layer was created using the Imagine “Blossom” cartridge.  Punched the sides w/ the Deco Fans corner and border punch set.  Stickled the watermelon.  Stamped sentiment using the Sassy Alpha and Scrappy Cat stamps. J

Thank You card

Made this Thank You card for a dear blog friend.

 Inside:

Did a “folding technique” for the front of the card:-

Took a piece of double-sided cardstock and folded it in half twice.  (You can use any size, as long as it’s square.)  I used 6” x 6”.  Folded the four corners into the centre.  Next flipped up the corners to the edges of the sides.  Glued each piece in place.  Decorated the centre w/ an ornate frame and a button.

Added a 3-D butterfly and ribbon.  The sentiment was created w/ the Sassy Alpha stamps.

Tools/Items:-

Fiskars Circle Border Punch – Flowers (for corners)
Martha Stewart Punch -- Butterfly
EK Success Punch – Ornate Frame
Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps – Sassy Alpha
Glue – ATG; regular
Cardstock – patterned/double-sided
Ribbon
Button

Li'l "boo-boo" on my Cricut Cartridge CheckList

Hiya.

I happened to notice a li’l discrepancy on my Cricut Cartridge CheckList.  For whatever reason, 3 of the cartridges disappeared from the list on the Cricut Lite listing:-

CARTRIDGE

My original thought was it may have been a poltergeist but I’m guessing it was just “user” error.  LOL

While I was correcting that li’l fiasco, I decided to make some additional changes to the CheckList:-

* I added “Circle Exclusive” after each Cricut Circle exclusive cartridge.

* I removed the tab “Cricut Everyday”, which had the following cartridges:-

CARTRIDGE

What I ended up doing was incorporating those cartridges into the original “Cricut” tab.  The reason I decided to do this was because the original Wild Card was in that list, so thought that Wild Card 2 should be in there, too, along w/ the others in the above list.  So now there are only 5 CheckLists:-

·        Cricut carts
·        Cricut Events
·        Cricut Imagine
·        Cricut Lite
·        Cricut Projects

If you happen to notice any cartridges that are missing from my CheckList(s), please do not hesitate to contact me.

Here is the latest download:-

This time around, if you prefer, you can just print off the two-page Cricut Lite tab, instead of printing off the whole  enchilada.

Enjoy!! J
