For those of you who don’t have a lot of Stickles, I found
this neat li’l carousel at the thrift shop.
It holds 18 Stickles quite nice, but I wanted to have them placed upside-down,
so they wouldn’t have a clogging issue.
I bought a long piece of plumbing pipe, in the hopes that hubby would cut
it down to size for me. However, because
it wasn’t as easy as it sounded and one needed the right tool, like a hacksaw,
the li’l project never got completed. :-(
Saw a thread on the Cricut MB about how people stored their
Stickles, using couplings. Well, the
hubster and I trotted back to Home Depot and found exactly what we needed:- pipe adapters used for plumbing. They’re just the right size – ¾ in. and,
because they have a smaller end, it fits into the carousel just perfect. Actually a nice tight fit. Then, the Stickles go in upside-down, beautifully.
Here's what it originally looked like, w/ the paints I got, for $4.00:-

Works like a charm!!!! :-)
