Clean-Up --- Day 2

Well, yesterday we spent most of the day away from home, so I ended up doing my “clean-up” later last night, for a couple of hours. I managed to clean off my sewing cabinet. Yes, that’s where it was hiding. LOL As you can see, I still have a Spring/Easter tree sitting on it. I can’t seem to find its box. No surprise there, eh? LOL

The bulletin board is going to be my "sewing" inspiration board. I have GREAT plans for it! :-) I'll give you a hint:- the top part of it is going to be covered in the same "sewing motif" as my wallhanging. :-)

I chose that area to work w/ first, because I thought it would be beneficial to have somewhere to lay my boxes for sorting --- i.e. sorting the small items. I have a whole slew of empty plastic shoe boxes in the closet.

My idea of dragging everything into the hall area didn’t fly --- especially w/ hubby. Not just the fact that the hall would look like someone from the “Hoarders” show, but he didn’t think that was the way to accomplish what I’ve set out to do and I, reluctantly, agreed. So, off to “Plan B” --- of sorting in my room. We’ll see how far I get w/ that idea.

Even hubby said it was fine to move things to other places, just so they were “out of the way” and I can then worry about their “new/forever” home, later on down the road.

My Cricut Station is STILL clean.......
Ironically, during my clean-up, I found my “Clutter Control” book. Do you think “an angel” was trying to help me? :-)
