Happy 6th Birthday, Bailey!

Well, li'l Bailey's 6th birthday was on Oct. 24th.  Hubby wasn't here that day, so we postponed it until the week-end.  Then, his momma lost the pix she took.  Finally, they showed up!  Phew!!  There were a LOT of pix on that SD card.  I was sooooo scared that it had been lost forever.   Sooooo, here are li'l Bailey's birthday pressies:-

Li'l Bailey is 5 years old today.  Here he is in his "birthday suit".  Errrrr, I mean his birthday outfit.  (tee-hee)

Looks like he's saying:-  "Can you hurry up and take the picture, already, so we can go for our walk and I can show off my new jacket??" J

Isn't he just the cutest ever??!!!  Well, "I" think so.  J

The patch reads:-  "Commanding Officer --- Gooby K9 Patrol".  On the other side is a patch of 3 stripes for "Sargeant".  Bailey certainly is our Commanding Officer.  LOL

Bailey – my li’l star

Whilst on our walk yesterday, we came across a group of Asian tourists. Nothing unusual here, as we’re a tourist town. A few of them came over to Bailey and I thought they wanted to pet him but, instead, they started taking his picture. They couldn’t speak a stick of English but we conversed regardless, w/ me acknowledging that it was alright and they, in turn, gesturing many “thank you’s”. Bailey was in his glory, posing for different pix. He twirled around for them, as they were giggling away, snapping picture after picture. It was quite the scene. They were grinning from ear to ear, as if they had won the Lotto. Bailey literally pranced away, as if he knew that he had put a smile on their faces.  J

So now li’l Bailey is a “star” in a Continent a gazillion miles away, where his pix will be shared w/ their family and friends. He’s always been “my li’l star” but now someone else will get to enjoy him, too, at least in pix.   J

Bailey's 4th birthday

It's li'l Bailey's birthday and he just turned 4.  Here he is awaiting his presents:-

Tee hee!  It's actually li'l Bailey w/ a new haircut.  LOL  We had a new groomer and she trimmed him waaaaaaay down.  :-(   But. . . . . his gorgeous fur will grow back.  :-)

Layout (first) of Bailey

Hello again. As mentioned in my previous post, I was approached by Theresa, theScrapbooking Queen, to be a guest designer on her blog. Well, actually it’s not really HER blog, it’s her li’l Yorkie, Penelope’s blog. (I just know Bailey would love to play w/ her.)

Anyway, Penelope’s blog is called “Princess Penelope” (see her blog button on right sidebar) and she has guest designers on every Friday. Here is my contribution:-

Just to let you know, this is my very first LO that I have ever done. And it only seemed apropos to make it of my sweet li’l Bailey.

For those of you who don’t already know, Bailey is a li’l rescue, sent to me from heaven by my dear, sweet Sasha, whom I lost 2 yrs. ago. I was in a really bad way when I lost my Sasha, so Bailey basically rescued me, instead of the other way ‘round.

When we first got Bailey, he took a shine to one of Sasha’s toys:- a li’l chick. Here he is cuddling the li’l chick. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever?? Hence, that's what I centered my LO around.

Bailey is telling the li’l chick:- “I paws-itively LOVE you”! And the li’l chick is returning the love by wearing a “Puppy Love” collar.

Bailey’s name in paw prints is created with the “JLR Pawrty Hearty” font.

Why, it's li'l Cricut! He has a new night shirt. He was feelin' a bit of a draft at night. Now, he'll be toasty warm --- even his li'l antennae will be warm. :-)

It's actually a win-win situation cuz li'l Bailey now has Silvester to play with. :-)

Bailey's. . . . pooped

Toooooo many festivities for the li'l tyke. Good thing his new toy could also be used as a headrest. :-)

After Christmas, we went upIsland and spent time w/ family. There was a pussy cat, where we stayed, and it took all of li'l Bailey's self-control (not much there! LOL), trying to stay away from it. He so wanted to play w/ it, but Papa didn't want him to.

He's happy to be home and in his familiar surroundings, where he "rules the roost". ;-)

I hope this New Year fills your heart with happiness and brings promises of brighter tomorrows. :-)

He certainly was for li'l Bailey. Bailey must've been a really good li'l boy, cuz Santa spoiled him. Here he is w/ his "special new friends". . .

Then, he got a stocking that was filled w/ the other goodies below. . . .
He didn't know which one to play with first. I wish I could've gotten it on video cuz it was the cutest thing ever. He'd come and get one toy, take it to his bed, then come and get another one. At one point, his bed was full w/ his toys. Then he played w/ them, one by one. Sooooo cute! :-)

Li'l Bailey would like to wish all of his Momma's followers/visitors Happy Holidays! He said he likes how his Momma smiles, when she reads all of the comments that have been left for her. :-)

He didn't want to sit on Santa's lap this year, so this is his pic from last year. :-) Hope you and yours have a very Merry Merry!!! :-)

NOTE: Someone asked where li'l Bailey got his Santa pix taken. It was at Pets West. and was only $10.00 for a CD of 10 pix. Each one was cuter than the last one but I might be a li'l bias. LOL All of the proceeds went towards an "animal rescue" group, which made it all the better. :-)

Bailey's BD goodies

Well, li'l Bailey scored BIG for his BD. We all knew he would, eh? LOL
He lucked out BIG time cuz his toys were on for 1/2 price. Got them at Petsmart. If you have one near you, here's what/how much they were:-

11" witch --- $4.00

His MAIN gift was the li'l fox that had NO stuffing in it. It was $10.00. (Bailey's worth it!!!) :-)

Momma --- I’m crafty, too!!

Look what li’l Bailey left in his dish. . . . . .

Every morn, after li'l Bailey has his brecky, he leaves a li’l bit for his lunch. He then gets my attention and brings me to his bowl to show me what he’s left. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw what it was.

Can you see it?? --- it’s a flower, w/ even a…. stem. No LIE!! I didn’t touch it. I didn’t add to it. Nothing. Honest. That’s exactly how he left it. Tooooooo cute, eh? :-) Soooooo, he's not the only "crafty one" in the family. I always knew he was "crafty"!!! (sly!!) :-) Now he's both!! :-)

Well, Bailey had his "grooming day" today. Here's a "before" pic of him:-

They were doing something "different" at the groomers, this time. You didn't have to leave w/ the pup you came in with. Sooooo, I chose this one. . .

Ain't he a cutey?? Fooled you! It's actually li'l Bailey. I would never trade him in on another pup!!!
