Thank You / Miss You Card

Made this card for a special MB friend who did a trade of a Cricut vinyl w/ me (my pink for her green) but, on top of that, she gave me two Cricut vinyl figures as a surprise.  Here’s the scoop:- When I asked her if I could purchase the red one from her, she let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, and told me that she was giving me that one, as a surprise.  But, when I received my package, there was another surprise:-  a blue one.  How sweet was that, eh?  So, to thank her, I created this “miss you” card from her “Cricut kids”.

Inside:-

If you're having trouble reading the "blurb", here it is:-

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Mini
Cricut Cartridges – see below
Patterned Paper – envelope; card layer & inside
Cardstock: white; red; blue; green; black
Paper – silver from my furbaby’s food package
Glue – ATG; Zig Two-Way
Stickles – gold
Bead
Flower
White Gel Pen (for the eyes)

Cricut Cartridges:-
Cricut Decals – bugheads and layers
Cricut Alphabet  -- sentiment

I had a blast creating this card and, the best part:-  The prev. owner of the kids loved the card.  She said, and I quote:-

Hi Linda,

I received the BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL card today. It brought the biggest smile to my face after a rough day at work. The picture of the kids is beautiful.
How did you get them to stay still long enough for the photo? I am glad they are fitting right in.

Thank you so very much, I will forever keep the card out for display.
J

Sooooo, that is why I do what I do:-  to bring a smile to someone's face.  And. . .it worked!!! J

Latest Cricut Cartridge Check List – May 2013

Hiya

Firstly, I am so sorry that it took so long for me to update my Cricut Cartridge Checklist.  W/ the disappearance of the Cricut Blog, I’ve been lost as to which new cartridges have been announced.  I  haven’t been receiving regular “Hello Thursdays”, either.  :-(
As far as I know, since February (my last Checklist), Provocraft released  6 new cartridges:-
Even tho some of these are called Cricut Everyday, I chose to put them into categories.

·        Cricut® Boho Graphics - projects
·        Cricut® Brooklin Iron On - projects
·        Cricut® The First Few Years – events
·        Cricut® When I was a Kid - events
·        Creative Memories --Total Sports
·        Cricut® Southwest

If I have missed any, please let me know and I will update my Checklist.

Thanks!

Here's my latest checklist:-
Just to remind you that, when you click on the Cartridge name in the CheckList you downloaded, it will link directly to the Cricut website, whereby you can see more info about the cartridge(s).

For newbies to my Cartridge Checklist, here's what it looks like:-
Enjoy!
